Baltikum '99

On October 30, 1999 the annual meeting of mountaineers from three Baltic states took place. There were approximately 60 participants from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

According to the tradition the competition for the best route was held. Board of judges had to make desicion between 15 different routes , which were split into three categories:

• Altitude-class
• Technical class
• Hiking routes

The board of judges made the decision ; among states the results were following:

1. Latvia - 38 p.
2. Lithuania - 34 p.
3. Estonia - 9 p.
